A haven of peace

Adapted Day Camp

Arc-en-ciel Program (Special Needs)

The Arc-en-ciel program at the Centre Notre-Dame-de-Fatima day camp is designed for children ages 5 to 14 with special needs, such as autism spectrum disorder (ASD), intellectual disabilities, or multiple disabilities.

This adapted day camp provides personalized support with specialized staff ratios (1:1 or 1:2) to meet each child’s individual needs.

With a caring and inclusive approach, children enjoy a wide variety of outdoor activities in a safe, stimulating, and ability-appropriate environment.

Registration for the Arc-en-ciel Program

Registration for the Arc-en-ciel program takes place every year in January.

Day camp schedule

Day camp runs from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

An extended care service is available from 7:00 to 9:00 a.m. and from 3:30 to 6:00 p.m. (limited spaces).

Registration Process

Before booking, a file opening process and an evaluation meeting are required. This step ensures the support ratio is adapted to each participant’s needs.

We recommend starting the process a few months in advance.

For more information or to register, contact us at 514-453-7600 ext. 234 or by email at inscriptions@mon-camp.ca.

Our Sales Coordinator will guide you through the process: explaining the steps, sending you the necessary forms, and scheduling the evaluation meeting.

Other services offered

The Centre Notre-Dame-de-Fatima also offers an overnight summer camp (June to August) and weekend respite stays (September to June).

Administrative steps for all new applications

1-Complete the Registration and Health Form to open a file. Return everything by email to inscription@mon-camp.ca with a photo of the camper.

2-Attend an evaluation meeting to assess the camper’s needs. Once the file is open, parents or guardians will receive an email to schedule an appointment with the Assistant Director of Specialized Programs. This meeting allows a tour of the facilities with the parent (or resource) and the camper, as well as answers to any questions about respite stays and camps. The current waiting time for an appointment is about 5 to 6 weeks.

3-Once the meeting is completed and the support ratio determined, your email will be added to our mailing list for the registration calendar according to the desired program.

4-For financial assistance based on family income, you must provide the Revenu Québec Notice of Assessment (line 199) of both parents (if applicable) and complete the Financial Assistance Form.

5-Book your stay(s) with the Sales Coordinator at 514-453-7600 ext. 234 or inscription@mon-camp.ca. Act quickly when registrations open, as spots fill up very fast.
